Hey there, welcome to the chaos!

My name is Francesca, and I'm an American living in Italy. An ex-pat if you will.

 

At 21 I got into medical school.. in Italy. I went all in, and moved across the globe to embark on this crazy adventure. I was armed with one luggage, a violin, and my Italian (thanks mom & dad).

 

While I am Italian-American, and have grown up with the Italian culture, I had never lived here before. Over the past three years I have had to navigate the new cultural landscape, make new friends, experience new social life, and learn to battle homesickness.. all while attending medical school. ​
